Pouco tempo depois do Bound For Glory, o IMPACT Wrestling apresenta o Turning Point.

Um evento produzido inicialmente pela TNA, foi descontinuado em 2013, após 8 anos contínuos de emissão.

Em 2019, o IMPACT trouxe de volta o PPV, como um especial para o IMPACT Plus. A 30 de Outubro de 2020, a marca anunciou a edição de 2020 do evento.
