Para presenças em shows independentes, Matt Hardy cobra 1500 dólares por presença mais hotel, viagens e ainda 300 dólares para a sua esposa Reby Sky. Segundo a WON, a TNA pagou a Hardy o dobro desse valor para ele estar nas gravações de TV em Nova Iorque.
Matt Hardy não assinou contrato com a TNA nem com a Ring of Honor e quer continuar a trabalhar para as duas promoções, embora isso não seja possível. Hardy deu indicações que não quer assinar contrato e trabalhar exclusivamente para uma promotora.
Matt deu uma entrevista à WON e disse que na WWE fez o dinheiro suficiente para viver bem o resto da sua vida mas quer continuar a trabalhar nos shows independentes para se manter envolvido no wrestling.
Segundo a WON e ao contrário do que foi reportado não é o cantor Toby Keith que estará a financiar a nova promotora de Jeff Jarrett, a Global Force Wrestling. Segundo mencionado por Jarrett, ele tem um financiador que está ligado a Hermie Sadler da NASCAR.
A promotora do Reino Unido Preston City Wrestling anunciou que irá realizar um show conjunto com a Ring of Honor. O show tem o nome de "Supershow of Honour".
A EVOLVE anunciou que os antigos lutadores da WWE Matt Sydal (Evan Bourne) e Drew Galloway (Drew McIntyre) irão estar presentes nos shows da promotora em Agosto na Florida.
A CZW anunciou que o próximo desafiante ao CZW Title de Biff Busick será o Cambodian Axe Murderer Joker. O combate terá lugar no New Heights no dia 12 de Julho.
A Ring of Honor anunciou que Rocky Romero devido à lesão sofrida no Japão irá estar ausente dos shows deste mês de Julho.
